Funeral and Support of Children for Latoya Morrow

Our beloved LaToya recently passed away on Friday February 11, 2022, due to a severe car accident which also involved her 21 year old son. LaToya was a wonderful daughter, mother, family member and friend who’s heart shared so much love and who’s kindness touched the lives of everyone around her. She leaves behind four children which includes a son aged 21 whom she was primary caregiver for, she also leaves behind a 9 year old son, as well as, a 3 year old daughter.

LaToya dedicated her life to assisting Indiana’s community youth as the former Director of Alumni Services and Scholars, for Teen Works Career, College and Community Programs. She had a deep passion for helping youth thrive and developing in what sometimes where very difficult situations. Her dedication has impacted so many who have been able to accomplish their goals, and interests as successful young adults.

We are all devastated by LaToya’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service to include relocating her back to her family home where she will be laid to rest. We are also in the midst of trying to prepare and support her children who will have the most impact on their lives without their mother. We want to give LaToya the memorial she deserves, and we want to also ensure that her children not only receive the resources they will need to transition but we also want to honor her memory best by allowing her spirit to rest easy in knowing that her children will be taken care of as we say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of LaToya ’s funeral expenses, and to provide continued care for her three children. We are setting a goal to raise $50,000 by March 31, 2022. This will be used toward funeral service expenses and it will go toward care for her children:

-Medical expenses for oldest son

-Transition services and continued therapy services for the children

-Continue support and care of her three children going forward
