The Chen Group (TCG) is a youth-led organization founded in 2020 by six students with one shared vision: to create meaningful change in their middle school community. At a time when many students felt unheard, disconnected, and uncertain about the future of education, TCG became a platform for hope, leadership, and action. What began as a small student initiative quickly evolved into a movement driven by the belief that young people deserve a real voice in shaping their schools and communities.

Through youth leadership, advocacy, and collaboration, TCG worked directly with student leaders and school stakeholders to help advise the Chair on executive actions, initiatives, and policies that supported 21st-century education. From improving student engagement to promoting equity, leadership opportunities, and stronger school culture, TCG demonstrated that students are not just participants in education — they are partners in building it. Over the years, The Chen Group has empowered students to lead with purpose, speak with confidence, and organize for positive change. Our mission is rooted in the idea that leadership is not defined by age, but by action.

Today, we are expanding our vision beyond one campus. With your support, The Chen Group aims to provide more opportunities for youth leadership development, civic engagement, educational initiatives, community events, mentorship programs, and student advocacy projects across more schools and communities. Your donation directly supports youth leadership programs, student-led initiatives and events, educational resources and outreach, community engagement projects, advocacy and civic participation opportunities, expanding opportunities for students from all backgrounds, initiatives, and technology, summit portfolios, and enhancement projects.
