My name is Hadeel Zorob. This Gofundme is for the peoole of Gaza and Palastinians who have been displaced in Egypt. I am teacher from Gaza. I have been subjected to genocide and witnessed many forms of death and destruction. My children and I were evacuated to Egypt on April 23, 2024.

My departure was very tramatic for me, as I was treated as if I was a traitor to my family and my country. I have left some members of my family behind; right now my loved ones and my country are suffering a lot of pain.

I have thought a lot about how to start a new life and be of help to my country from where I am now in Egypt. I thought about creating a gofundme account to evacuate my family members in Gaza.

Unfortunately, the occupation has destroyed the crossing and closed all roads. This has made it difficult to get family members and others out. I couldn't do it and I started wondering what to do?

The people of Gaza have no food, drink, clothing, housing or education; almost everything has been destroyed. Diseases have spread throughout their bodies effecting a lot of the population of Gaza. There is no cure due to inadequate medical facilities which have been destroyed with no medical supplies coming in. Also, there is no safety becuase of the constant bombing of people, infrastructure, safe zones and displacement camps.

In Egypt the people from Gaza are missing out on everything, even when it comes to meeting their basic needs. even in Egypt their life is very difficult without proper provision.

I said to myself,“I will not stand idly by and do nothing.” My first goal was to evacuate my family and rebuild my life.

I said to myself,“I will not stand idly by, but rather I will strive to support them and support their steadfastness.”

As a teacher, I took the initiative by using my skills to become a volunteer to teach the Palestinians in Al-Arish. Thank God, some donors helped me in this pursuit. As a volunteer I started contributing to helping the people of Gaza in Palestine and those in Egypt. This has become my first and primary goal to support the people of Gaza.

This gofundme, which I have now managed to set up, is a collection to raise money for my country, its people, and then my family.

May God reward well those who help and may God reward those who give even just a little as every dollar makes a difference for the people of Gaza.
