I am raising funds for Kelly Rome who owns Knot Just Hair on Cayley Road in Anlaby.

Kelly is a cornerstone in our community, she has been the first haircut and everyone since for many children in the area. She has a clientele aged from 0 to 100, cares deeply about every single client she has, and remembers everyone’s stories and struggles. She’s an all round incredible person, we need more Kelly’s!

Kelly is also a mother, a mother currently in absolute crisis. The exact reasons for this and details have been requested to be kept private, however she is currently a mother who is supporting one of her dependents through 12 weeks of chemotherapy on a rare type of cancer.

The individual receiving care wants privacy whilst they work through the challenges ahead, however, I really believe this shouldn’t stop us stepping up to support Kelly and her family.

Kelly is a devoted working mother who has made enough to get by over the years whilst being there for her household. Due to the ongoing need to be in Leeds for this specialist treatment she is only managing essential appointments and has close to no income at present. The family are currently 2 weeks into a 12 week course but further treatment could be needed down the line too.

I’d love for us to group together and ease Kelly and her family’s mind by taking financial worries off the table, allowing them to be present for eachother through this exceptionally challenging time.

This fundraiser has been started with Kelly’s blessing and all funds will be released directly to her to use however is needed through the coming months.
