Funds to help my parents affected by COVID19

Hi my name is Lynn.

Above is a photo of my mother, Sue (78) and my stepfather, Bill (80) who currently live in Roanoke, Virginia.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, they have been struggling to keep their heads above water. Years ago, my stepfather, a Vietnam veteran, invented and patented a product and started his own business, which involves him selling and contracting with hotels. This has always been the only source of their income. The hospitality industry took a major hit during COVID which directly affected him and essentially shut his business down. Because of this, my parents have not been able to make their mortgage payments, have struggled to even buy groceries and most recently had their 2017 Pacifica van repossessed. They have less than 15 days to make the past-due payments to get their van back.

I and other family members have been doing all we can to help them financially but it just hasn't been enough. We are hoping this GoFundMe will raise enough money for them to get their van back and to help pay their mortgage and other monthly expenses while they get back on their feet.
