Hi everyone,

I’m starting this fundraiser for my mom, who has always been the strongest and most selfless person I know. She’s a single mom who has worked tirelessly to take care of me my whole life, making countless sacrifices along the way. Now that I am heading off to college, the financial strain has become even greater.

On top of that, my mom’s car—our family’s only reliable transportation—is broken and unable to be fixed. She depends on it to get to work every day so she is able to support our family. Also, the move in date for UMass approaching faster than ever has put a lot of stress on the situation, seeing as she needs a way to transport me to college! A gently used car would give her the peace of mind she deserves after years of putting everyone else first.

My mom has never asked for help, but I know how much of a difference this would make in her life. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping us get her a safe, dependable vehicle.
