I'm currently volunteering at a daycare in Tanzania, founded by an inspiring woman who grew up in an orphanage. She started by selling fruit on the streets to save enough to open this daycare, which now provides a safe space for children, many from orphanages, to learn and play during the day.

Her dream is to raise enough money to open a boarding school, so these children can have a stable place to live as well.

As someone who has worked in schools and childcare, how limited the resources are has truly shocked me. Yet the children are full of joy and gratitude, and it's truly changed my perspective.
