Hi, I am Emma and this fundraiser is to raise money for vital resources for the children and schools in Kolkata, India.

Students of Holy Child Killiney will be working as teaching assistants in St George’s school, St Mary’s school, and the Mary Rice Centre (a centre for people with additional needs and intellectual disabilities).

Funds are required to sustain the daily feeding programme in the schools. Most children attending these schools are homeless and impoverished, and the feeding programme provides essential daily nutrition to them. Any donations will go a long way and make a big impact for these children.

To raise these funds, I will be training and running a half marathon over the coming months of December and January my aim to have it completed by the end of January. I will posting daily and weekly updates on my progress .

I will be travelling with my school, Holy Child Killiney, to Kolkata, India, in February 2026. Costs of this will be self-financed and all funds raised here will be given directly to the school.
