BBNAC’23 FUNDRAISING DRIVE TO BUILD WATER WELLS IN BUGANDA

The theme for BBNAC’2023 is “The Challenge of Adequate Clean Water in Buganda and Finding Solutions”.

Most people in Buganda lack access to clean water. While the Kingdom of Buganda has already undertaken efforts to bring clean water to many of its people, help is still needed to bring it to the remaining parts of Buganda.

This fundraising effort is being spearheaded by BBNAC, through its Baganda member Associations, in collaboration with the Kabaka’s Representatives in the USA and Canada. This is our opportunity to give back to our motherland and to ensure that all Kabaka’s subjects in the Buganda Kingdom get access to clean water.

As of today, the Kingdom of Buganda, in collaboration with Wells of Life, has already constructed 453 new wells and repaired 218 more in the districts of Mubende, Kassanda and Mityana.

We are also glad to note that one of BBNAC’s Member Associations (Rocky Mountain Buganda Region in Colorado) has already contributed to this cause by building one Borehole Well in Buganda. We appeal to all BBNAC Member Associations to respond to Rocky Mountain’s challenge.

Our goal is to raise $60,000 to support this effort to build more Borehole Wells in Buganda through Wells of Life. Your donation will be key in bringing clean water to many of our siblings in Buganda.
