My name is Katrina, and on the 20th June 2026 I will be doing a 1.5km open water swim at Westhorpe Watersports. This is to help raise money to support West Wycombe Baby & Toddler Group — a group that my son and I have loved over the last year.

Attending each week has given my son the chance to play and interact with children of different ages, something he doesn’t usually experience at nursery or in other baby classes. More than that, it’s been wonderful to watch him grow in confidence, build friendships, and become part of our local community.

The group itself is set in the heart of beautiful West Wycombe, surrounded by lovely coffee shops and incredible countryside walks, making it a really special place for families to come together.

This group is incredibly close to my heart, which is why I want to help give back. In recent months, some of the running costs — including rent — have had to be covered by volunteers just to keep the group going.

I’m fundraising to help support the future of the Baby & Toddler Group so it can continue to be a welcoming space for local families, and so even more parents and children can benefit from the friendships, support, and sense of community it brings.
