Hi, my name is Laura. Last year I volunteered as nurse helper in Lourdes to take 11-30 year olds with additional needs over from Northern Ireland for a week. This year, I will be reattending as a volunteer carer. If you remember from last year the charity was called the Irish Pilgrimage Trust, but has since rebranded to be called The Rise and Shine Trust.

All donations of this go fund me will be contributed towards my group’s fund. This goes towards our guests who travel with us, as all costs for them are fully funded (flights, accommodation, transfers, food). Leftover fundraising gets put towards activities for the group during the week in Lourdes, and then rolled over to next years fund.

During our time in Lourdes, we accommodate the guests to the baths, the grotto, mass, group activities, meals, exploring, a day trip, candlelight procession, dress up day, and much more.
