Fundraising for the Guide dogs

I’m taking part in the Toughmudder 15k on the 10th of May in West London. I’ve chosen to raise money for the Guide dogs for the blind association as they have made a massive impact on our family.

The Guide dogs for the blind association are a charity organisation that are funded almost completely on donations.

A few years ago, my uncle Mark suddenly became completely blind, after a whole life of sight. This was a complete shock and wore heavy on our whole family. After a few years of darkness, the light was relit. This light came in the form of Ryan, who is now a major part of our family and a life changing aid for Mark.

This couldn’t have been done without the help of the Guide dogs. Their training and support from the very beginning has been phenomenal, overcoming setbacks and challenges, they’ve without a doubt changed Marks life.

However, Marks story is just one of very many. The guide dogs provide life-changing services to the 360,000 people who are registered blind or partially sighted, and the two million people in the UK living with sight loss.

With your help, they can continue to do the incredible job they do of supporting people in need. They truly do change lives, I’ve seen first hand the impact they make.

Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
