Trans woman in need of community re-entry support

We are members of Railroad, a Providence-based group providing material support to people in prison and fighting against the racist system of mass incarceration through legislation, policy, and collective action. Please help us raise funds for an associate, comrade, and friend of Railroad's, A, for when she gets out of prison.
A is due to be released on parole in early spring. She is dedicated to supporting her community and building connections to create social change.
During her current time incarcerated, A has been working on pursuing education with College Unbound to obtain certification in case management. This is one of many ways that A has shown her compassion and commitment to reaching others and connecting them with resources. She has also taken on mentorship roles and tutored other people who are currently incarcerated.
After prison, she also hopes to support advocacy work, building off legislative work she was already doing with political and community non-profits and organizations in Providence.
Funds raised will be used to help A with rent, clothes, technology, transportation, and other necessities. Please help set A up for a smooth transition back into society and into her community.
