Please help if you can! As many of you may know, my biological father, Thomas O’Shaughnessy, recently got surgery to remove a large tumor in the brain. Shortly thereafter, he was diagnosed with a rare form of aggressive brain cancer. He has chosen to continue to fight to live via radiation therapy treatments, home care, and therapy. Unfortunately, since he has chosen not to go into hospice just yet and fight to live rather, insurance has denied coverage for both hospital/care facilities and rehab as well as funding to help him cover a caretaker to help him on this journey. The hospital is releasing him today to go live alone back in his home, and I want to do all I can to try and help him survive and sustain safely. We started a GoFundMe in an attempt to try and raise what he can to help him survive on his own, cover bills, radiation treatments, and to pay a caretaker to help him.
