I'm Kristen, and on December 14th, 2020 we learned that my 2-year-old niece, Meiva, was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a liver cancer. She has received two cycles of chemotherapy so far, but during recent follow-up visits, we were heartbroken to discover that she has residual cancer that requires additional treatment. 

Meiva's treatment will consist of weekly chemotherapy. The chemo she will receive is myelosuppressive which means Meiva will likely have many unplanned visits to the hospital. After her chemotherapy, Meiva still may be in need of a liver transplant. In addition, a small hole has been found in Meiva's heart that will also require additional surgery.

We are so incredibly grateful for all the donations we received for Meiva's first round of treatment. We are hoping to raise an additional $7,000  to help cover some of the medical expenses that Meiva and her family will face.

Meiva is such a strong happy girl and we love her so much. Her smile and sweet personality have brought so much joy to our family since she was born.
