Hi, my name is Genevieve and I am lucky enough to have been selected to visit Gibraltar as part of an international Guides trip with the North West Regional Guides. The trip will take place in August 2026.

I am fundraising to cover the £1100 cost of the trip, this includes the travel costs and accommodation.

The trip is an International Community Experience (ICE) . We will get involved in a community action project in the UK before we travel to Gibraltar for 1 week. While we are in Gibraltar we will take part in different community activities such as caring for animals at a sanctuary and an environmental project. We will decide as a group which activities we get involved in.

To raise funds for this trip I am going to take part in lots of different fundraising activities including with our Brownies and my school. I am also going to swim the width of Gibraltar which is 1.2km. I am going to swim this in my local swimming pool in Neston in Cheshire. I will add other fundraising activities here as I plan them.
