Fundraising for Design & Media Arts Academy

Hello Friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

Our students at Design and Media Arts Academy need your support in funding for black-out drapes in their multi-media lab. This space is an old gym that has been converted into a flexible working space for students to perform, do screenings, filming, work on computers, and even read in their downtime. Needless to say, the black-out drapes are a missing piece to make this space efficient for their needs!

With generous support from Phillips Draperies and Momentum Textiles and Wallcoverings, we are on our way to getting this installed for the students this year. But we need your help to fund for the installation!

ArtworxLA and the Design and Media Arts Academy, partnered with LAUSD, is a continuation high school that uses art as a way for drop-out prevention and provides creative career pathways for students. Your help will reinforce that they are supported every step of the way.
