Fundraising for child refugees in Luton

Hi everyone

As some of you know, we have been providing the food for the quarantine hotels for the last 4 months. We’ve all heard on the news the stories coming from Afghanistan but on delivering to our regular hotel which has now become the centre for child refugees in Luton, we cannot begin to explain what we witnessed.

There are children, orphans with just the clothes on their backs. The majority of the residents arrived starving, shell shocked, it’s heart breaking. We cannot even contemplate what they have been through but we will do our very best to help.

We don’t know what’s next for them but for the time being, we are contributing to feeding, clothing and just trying to make the situation a little bit better. We have already purchased food and clothes but items such as nappies, toiletries, baby food, etc will be needed over the coming weeks and this page is for anyone who would like to contribute and we will ensure the items are purchased and delivered - all updates will be visible on our old skool pantry Facebook page.
