Luke's Statement:
Camps International Kenya is not only a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit one of the world's most beautiful countries, but it is also an opportunity to help some of the people who need it most.
Around 60% of Kenya's population do not have access to clean, or safe drinking water and over 1 million children under the age of 10 do not get the chance to go to school.
Camps International are making a huge effort to change this among many other issues that plague the country. Projects such as the building of schools and elephant proof fences can help some smaller villages face some of their huge problems.
I am a 14 year old paperboy with big ambitions. I play both rugby and football and I have volunteered locally for the community as part of my Duke of Edinburgh award. I enjoy learning about history and geography as well as new languages.
Any help would be massively appreciated in my journey to the beautiful east coast of Africa.
