Hi, my name is Henry, and this July I’ll be travelling to Hogar El Alba, a children’s home in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a small group from my school, Canford.

This trip is part of a long-standing partnership between Canford and the orphanage that’s been running for over 20 years. While we’re there, we’ll be helping with essential maintenance work around the grounds during the day, and in the evenings we’ll provide entertainment and activities for the children once they’ve returned from school.

To provide additional support for the home, my friend and I are taking on a 15km coastal walk to raise funds. These donations go directly towards the running of the orphanage and make a meaningful difference to the lives of the children there.
