Hi, my name is Penny, and in May 2026 I will be taking part in a 10,000 feet sky dive to raise both funds and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Last year, my family received the devastating news that my dad had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s dementia. Anyone who knows my dad knows what a big character he is — full of personality, humour, and life. Watching Alzheimer’s slowly take that away, and seeing how it affects not only the person diagnosed but everyone who loves them, is truly heartbreaking.

I’m taking on this challenge to honour my dad and to support all families who are facing the same journey. The Alzheimer’s Society does incredible work in providing support, funding research, and raising awareness for a condition that affects so many lives.
