Fundraising for Alfred Horn
Donation protected
My name is Brandon Horn. I’m trying to raise some money to help out my father, Alfred Horn.
This is kind of tough for me. I’m typically not the one asking for help, but here it goes.
On December 6th, my father had open-heart surgery at a nearby hospital. He went in for a quadruple bypass and also to fix his afib.
I received a call from the surgeon around 5 pm. She said the surgery went well. It took 8 hours and 45 minutes. I was also told that it was a complete success and there were no complications. Relief set in.
My father returned home. Shortly after that, he began to have several issues. Firstly, losing sight in his left eye, which was addressed in the hospital but never acknowledged.
Next was his breathing, or lack thereof.
So after multiple trips back to the hospital and two trips to the local ER, he ended up back at the hospital.
Not only was the eye an issue, he had a partially collapsed lung and was retaining fluid.
So currently, he’s back in the hospital with a drain in his lung and in his chest.
We are fundraising to cover the medical expenses and support my father during his recovery.
