On 4th July I'm heading off to Ghana on a school partnership trip for three weeks to Awutu Winton Senior High School. The school was set up by the Educational Development Projects Trust and their mission is to help children out of poverty by educating them. Awutu is fee free school for disadvantaged children and is located around 50km west of Accra. The work that the school does for children is amazing and so many of their lives have been turned around due to their education. When I go out there with my school in July, we will be helping out in loads of different ways - whether that be, building, gardening, or even teaching in some lessons. I have already done a cricket charity fun day with a friend to raise money for Awutu itself. However, I am now focused on trying to raise additional funds for the costs of the trip (which is really expensive and babysitting isn't quite covering it!). Next Monday I am doing a marathon walk along the Jurassic Coast and any sponsorship which you feel able to give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, Ben.
