Fundraiser to help our friend Cyndi King

I'm posting today to ask for help on behalf of someone who can't.

My best friend of 35 years, Cyndi King, suffered a devasting stroke on Thurs., Sept. 22, 2023.

Cyndi is currently at Soldiers here in Orillia. At this early stage, it's not easy to determine exactly what kind of long term effects the stroke will have on Cyndi.

What we do know is that Cyndi has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

She is going to need help. A lot of it.

If you know Cyndi at all, you know that she is an admirably generous person. She has always gone out of her way to be friendly to everyone.

Due to an injury in the early summer, Cyndi has been unable to work until just recently. And now Cyndi is facing months of rehabilitation before she can work again. As a single person living alone, this is going to put Cyndi under tremendous financial strain.

Whether you have met Cyndi in passing, are a close friend, a family member or anything in between - you will undoubtedly recognize just how genuinely kind hearted Cyndi is. She is selfless, considerate and loving and she provides joy and sincerity to those she cares for. Cyndi will go that extra mile to help those in need - to ensure that they are okay. That they are taken care of.

Right now the most important thing is to recognize that Cyndi will need us to step in, to minimize her stress, so that all her energy is focused on recovery. Together, we can help her.

All funds raised will go towards covering Cyndi's monthly expenses - rent, car payment, cell phone, internet, cable, groceries, toiletries, etc., while she is unable to work. As well, funds will go towards any physiotherapy or homecare that Cyndi might require as she recuperates at home.
