Fundraiser to Aid Haitian Farmers and Familes
Donation protected
We have been helping the people of Haiti for over 13 years and I am reaching out on behalf of the Children’s Garden Program and the Boot and Pickaxe Program, an initiative aimed at empowering the farmers of Lavanneau and Marbial, Haiti.
These communities are facing severe challenges due to ongoing insecurity and economic hardship.
For many, agriculture is the sole means of sustaining their families and contributing to their communities.
Each year, we provide essential tools—boots and pickaxes—to support these farmers in their vital work. This year, we aim to assist 75 farmers in Lavanneau and 75 farmers in Marbial, enabling them to grow crops for food and income. To make this possible, we are organizing a silent auction to raise the $3,375 needed to fund the program.
Also our program teaches children how to gown their own vegetable gardens to feed their families and to sell at market.
We kindly ask for your support in the form of an item or service donation for the silent auction. Your contribution, whether it’s a product, Flames Tickets, rounds of golf, gift certificates, or services, will directly impact these farmers' lives and help them build a brighter future.
Program Budget:
• Boots (75 pairs): $25 each = $1,875
• Pickaxes (75): $20 each = $1,500
• Children’s garden program = $4,000
• Total: $7,375 USD
Your generosity will not only support a meaningful cause but also bring attention to your business or service during the auction.
If you are able to contribute, please let me know. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these hardworking farmers.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support the Boot and Pickaxe Program. Your kindness and compassion are deeply appreciated.
