Fundraiser in Memory of Susan O’Sullivan (nee Heelan)

This Mother’s Day, an unimaginable tragedy struck the O’Sullivan & Heelan family when Susan was taken from us in a devastating car accident. Susan leaves behind her beloved husband, Gavin, and their two young children, Mollie and Rowan. We are so grateful that Mollie & Rowan are recovering from the crash. However, they will need ongoing physical and psychological support in the weeks and months ahead, as they navigate life without their mom.

Susan dedicated her life to caring for others as a social care worker. Her compassion touched the lives of everyone lucky enough to know her. She poured her heart into helping people in their most vulnerable moments. Now, it’s our turn to give back.

In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Susan’s friends and family have come together to support the O’ Sullivan family as they face the emotional and financial challenges of life without her. No family should have to navigate such grief while worrying about day-to-day expenses, funeral costs, or the future care and safety of the children.

Susan gave so much of herself to others in her work but also as a mom. She would hate to see the burden Gavin is bearing now for their family. Susan would want to see them all looked after in the best possible way.

We are asking for donations of any size to help ease this burden and provide Gavin, Mollie, and Rowan the space to grieve, heal, and find their way forward. Your kindness will help cover immediate costs and will help support the children’s needs in the months ahead.
