Fundraiser for United Way QC to Honor Tom Moritz

Tax deductible
My cousin Tom Moritz was an early inspiration to me, and I looked up to him, especially because he was kind and active politically. At family gatherings, I always enjoyed talking with him about what was going on in Davenport, the Quad Cities, the United States and the rest of the world. Very sadly, Tom died in 2015, but I think about him and our conversations a lot--they still inspire me to be politically involved. And to be nice to people.

Tom was the Labor Liasion to the Board of the United Way Quad Cities in the 1990's--an organization that was close to his heart. So while I ride the last leg of RAGBRAI L on July 29 with another cousin Tim (Tom’s brother and a great guy too), I'm raising money to benefit United Way Quad Cities and honor Tom. Please give if you can, any amount will help people in the Quad Cities who need it. Thanks!
