Stop TOPA is a 100% grassroots volunteer group of Oakland homeowners, housing providers, and concerned residents. We view our campaign as a public service announcement, to inform as many Oakland residents as possible about what our council is up to. Those who become aware of the details of this harmful TOPA ordinance quickly see that it will only serve special interest groups, not the people of Oakland. That's why we need help getting the word out. The more people who know, the stronger our movement becomes!

There are costs associated with effective outreach which is why we've started this fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds will pay for direct marketing expenses (mailers, websites, email blast services, etc.) Our labor is and will remain completely volunteer.
