Hi everyone :)

On the 2nd of June this year, I'll be taking part in the VHI Women's Mini Marathon. The charity I've chosen to support is the South Tipperary Hospice Movement.

This organisation provides expert palliative care to those with end-stage terminal illnesses. The work carried out by their wonderful staff has allowed so many people to spend their last days in a meaningful way; with dignity, in comfort and surrounded by loved ones. My own lovely mam, Máirín, received their care in 2021, and myself and my family are forever grateful for the compassion and professionalism she was shown during this difficult time.

As they are an entirely voluntary organisation, the hospice relies heavily on donations. All funding received goes towards providing crucial supports to people suffering with illness and their families.
