About NARIKA:
Narika was founded in 1992, by immigrant women who identified the need for culturally responsive and linguistically diverse domestic violence services in the Bay Area. Embracing the notion of safety, empowerment and wellness, Narika addresses the unmet needs of survivors of abuse by providing advocacy, support, information, and referrals within a culturally sensitive and linguistically diverse model. Narika has helped thousands of individuals put abuse and violence behind them and build new lives for themselves.
Narika’s mission is to promote women’s independence, economic empowerment and well-being by helping domestic violence survivors with advocacy, support and education.
