Fundraiser for Marrakesh Earthquake (including funds usage and transparency):

We are working hand-in-hand with L’Heure Joyeuse Foundation in Morocco Supported by Jamel Debbouze.

We are organizing a special fundraiser to support the victims affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Marrakesh region (province of Al Haouz), Morocco on Friday, September 8, 2023.

This earthquake has caused significant damage to homes, infrastructure, and has resulted in loss of lives and injuries; 2,500 deaths and 2,400 injured have been accounted for as of today. Many families are now left displaced and in urgent need of assistance.

Our fundraiser aims to rally together individuals, communities, and organizations in a collective effort to provide immediate relief and long-term support to those affected by this tragedy.

All funds raised through this campaign will be handled with utmost transparency and used in the most efficient and effective manner to maximize the impact of support provided to the affected individuals and communities.

Here is how the funds will be used:

1. Emergency Relief Supplies: Funds will be allocated for the procurement and distribution of emergency relief supplies such as food, clean water, blankets, clothing, hygiene kits, and essential medical supplies.

2. Medical Assistance: A portion of the funds will be dedicated to providing medical assistance to the injured individuals, covering expenses for medical treatments, medications, hospitalization, and rehabilitation.

3. Shelter and Housing Support: Funds will be used to provide temporary shelters, repair damaged houses, and assist in the reconstruction of homes for those who have lost their dwellings.

4. Community Rehabilitation: Our aim is to support the affected community in rebuilding their lives. The funds will be utilized to initiate rehabilitation programs, provide livelihood support, vocational training, and opportunities for income generation to help affected individuals regain stability.

The fund raiser is organized by the foundation Omarfinancial.org and the funds will be channeled to the most deprived. To ensure transparency in our fund management, we will regularly update our donors and the public on the allocation and utilization of funds. Detailed reports will be shared to demonstrate how the contributions have made a tangible impact on the affected communities.

We are dedicated to maintaining accountability and will work with trusted local organizations on the ground to ensure the equitable and efficient distribution of funds. Additionally, we will engage independent auditors to oversee and verify the financial transactions and ensure adherence to the highest standards of transparency.

4. إعادة تأهيل المجتمع: هدفنا هودعم المجتمع المتضررفي إعادة بناء حياتهم. سيتم استخدام الأموال لبدء برامج إعادة

التأهيل، وتوفيردعم سبل العيش، والتدريب المهني، وفرص توليد الدخل لمساعدة الأفراد المتضررين على استعادة الاستقرار.
