Fundraiser for Khader and his family

Hi all, I am Hanna and I’m fundraising for my friend Khader from Gaza, Palestine. Khader is twenty years old and currently lives in the northern Gaza Strip, in the Tuffah neighborhood. He and his family are going through the worst imaginable, as their homes and the life they once lived are destroyed – and survivors of the constant violence are dying from the harsh living conditions (hunger, thirst, fatigue, cold, displacement, pain, illness, and the constant burden of oppression).

After more than a year and a half of horror and cruel injustice, Khader and his family are still searching for hope, humanity and a return to a better life.

Right now, they urgently need all the support they can get. Your donation could ease some of their pain, as food and sustenance is becoming more and more expensive and scarce. If you cannot donate, please share.

“For more than a year and a half, corrupt and colonial governments have been taking advantage of that opportunity to test their weapons on the people of Gaza – among which are many children. Families have been afraid of concrete roofs for more than a year and a half. I don't want my family to be crushed to death when a missile falls. They sleep in tents like hundreds of thousands suffering from cold, rainwater, illness, hunger, and thirst. It has been more than a year and a half until we bid farewell to our loved ones and friends and say out loud together: who will be next? For more than a year and a half, governments have treated them as an opportunity for media and political spectacle. For a year and a half, they have experienced what no one would have to bear for a single day. For more than a year and a half, they have been tormented with the sight and smell of death, pursued everywhere. They have become sick. They are the wounded and the displaced. Please help my family escape this hell. ”
