It has been almost 2 years since COVID -19 has reared its ugly head. Regardless of race, gender, or class we have all been affected indirectly or worse yet, directly by COVID. Sadly, on May 14, 2021 we lost our beloved brother Coy Patterson to this virus.
Coy was a son, brother, and friend. However if you were to ask him, his most important role was that of a father to Coy Jr., affectionately known as "CJ" or Prince CJ. Coy was a devoted, loving father and role model to CJ. He often bragged about how proud he was of his son, and how smart he is. To say that he took pride in CJ would be an understatement.
Coy's mission was to be the greatest father and care for CJ to the best of his ability. He only wanted the best for his Prince. In honor of Coy, we ask that you donate with this in mind. Take solace in knowing that CJ is a huge part of our brother Coy and he will go on in life to do and accomplish great things.
Below is a note from Coy to his Prince:
To Prince CJ, there is no better love than between a man and a child. I am always here to protect, educate and provide. I love the questions you ask. Your innocent prospective reminds me that there is some normalcy in the world. Everything you do reminds me of myself as a child...love you! Dad".
