Fundraiser for an orphanage in India

Hi friends,

I create this fundraising for my birthday (May 4th) every year to support an orphanage that is near and dear to me and our family. Last year, I was able to raise around $1100 that helped them buy books and stationery, pay for their school tuition fees, and support a few months of food supplies. They are extremely grateful for the support, and I wanted to do this again this year. The money goes a long way; for example, $25 pays for a month's supply of milk for the kids!

My mom volunteers her time with them, and we got a chance to meet with the kids during our trip to India. They are a lovely bunch of about 40 kids aged between 5 and 15, very bright and have a great potential. It is a struggle sometimes to meet their basic needs, including their property rent, food, books, tuition fees, and sanitary/hygienic needs. So, I create a donation campaign every year to support their organization. I appreciate any amount of donation because every dollar counts (with the dollar value being strong in India).
