Devastating house fire destroys two homes
Donation protected

Just after 3 am on Monday morning, July 24th, our mother, Rina Anderson, 74 years old, and a young family, Morne and Kailyn Jansen Van Rensburg with their 6-month-old baby girl Hazel Hope and her grandmother Charmaine Rabe Ellis, woke up to the horror of fire and smoke. Both families lost their homes and all their belongings in a raging fire that burned down their duplex home in Newcastle, South Africa. When Morne heard windows break, he woke his wife up and ran to the 2nd flat where the fire began, breaking the door down, and helping our elderly mother out of her house. As the fire continued spreading, Morne got his wife, his baby girl, and his mother-in-law out of his part of the house. While everyone got out of their homes safely, the aftermath left them with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Both families are in desperate need of help to rebuild their lives over again.
We are asking for small donations, hoping it would not overburden anyone but reach many more through sharing, who, combined, could help our mother and the young family with their baby girl and her grandmother in their time of need. All the proceeds will be sent to both families in Newcastle, South Africa.
Please see the local newspaper links with the articles on the fire: https://northernnatalnews.co.za/391926/
