FUNDRAISER for Ashley’s Birth Attendant School

Hello helloo!

I am starting a new journey with the program Youth With A Mission in Perth, Australia.

I have been accepted to be a student in the upcoming Birth Attendant School, starting January 7, 2024 through December 7, 2024. The total duration of the school is 11 months. For 6 months of the program my class will be traveling to developing nations to put into action everything we have learned to serve expectant mothers and families in need. We will be birth attendants to midwives in rural villages and also work in hospitals, alongside nurses and doctors. Caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and beyond opens incredible doors of relationship, giving families opportunity to powerfully encounter the love of God. The Birth Attendant School is an opportunity to learn spiritual and practical aspects of being a birth attendant in the developing world. I will get trained in hands-on skills and gain God's heart for healthy labour, delivery and early childhood in under-resourced communities.

I have had an interest in midwifery for 5 years now and I am finally at a place in my life where I can take the step to experience and learn what midwifery is all about!

This door has been opened for me and I have been working hard to save enough money to attend this school. While in the program I will not be able to work so I need to earn and raise all my funds before leaving. At first I wasn’t going to raise support but as I’m almost leaving for this journey and have not quite reached my goal, I thought why not give it a shot.

ALL of the funds donated will go to my tuition for the program!!
