Fundraiser for Flood victims in Quang Tri Provine
Hello everyone,
My name is Kieu Le, I was born and grew up in a small village in Quang Tri Provine, Central Vietnam, and currently living in California, US. We were a traditional farmer family there as most of people in my hometown.
As you can see in these pictures, my hometown is flooded for last few days or even weeks. People from my hometown as well as other Central Vietnam cities need a lot of help and support. I am currently doing a fundraiser to collect donations and send back there to provide foods and some other essential stuffs. Flood is not over yet, but the storm is coming! A lot of people died, a lot of families lost their homes and loved ones, numerous of schools is covered by water, a lot of school materials and equipments were destroyed. A lot a lot of children couldn’t come back to school yet because no books, no school supplies... even foods!
My family left my hometown when I was 17. I had spent my childhood there with all of friends, neighbors in my village. But now, I see them living with flood, no electricity, no food. The kids needs clean water, need milks, rice...they just wait for instant noodles to help go through these disasters, and they use water from the heavy rain. Just in case when you check it out about my hometown, Quang Tri Provine flood online, maybe few of pictures have my friends, my relatives and my people’s houses in there, the people I spent a lot of time with when I was a kid. I am so grateful to be here but never forget where I came from, a poor village in Quang Tri Provine, Central Vietnam in which is flooded!
Whatever I can get from here, from everyone's kindness and love, I will send back to my cousins & friends in my hometown using my personal contact and get to the flood victims directly. Main focus will be helping the victims after the flood gone (hope the storm will not hit my hometown again - no where else is the most), foods, clean water, flashlights (because no electricity), medicine, supplies for kid, school materials... most of victims are farmers, so everything is gone after the flood and storm! This is my first time doing the fundraiser, every pennies counts and any helps is appreciated. Wish you all the best!
Please share to spread love and kindness,
Thank you so much,
