Funding Sadbh for the 2026 summer special Olympics games

Hi my name is Sadbh feehan, I’m a graduate and now employee of TCPID (Trinity Centre for people with intellectual disabilities) and the education department of Trinity college Dublin BUT I’m also a Special Olympics athlete from Carlow Special Olympics club and I’m very excited to have a place on the Leinster bowling team at this years Irish special Olympics games in Dublin. Our club needs to raise over €25,000 to bring all of our 36 qualifying athletes to the games - so each athlete is doing their part fundraising for this exciting event. When I last took part in the games in 2014 I fundraised by getting my long hair cut - I had (sometimes pink!) short hair for years! This year I’m planning to hold on to my lovely locks…….. but I’m hoping my friends and colleagues at Trinity will support me at coffee mornings and other mini events at the college to raise funds. The education dept have a coffee morning every Tuesday so I’ll be bringing in goodies to tempt everyone….but watch out for other events in the college!
Of course you dont have to be in trinity college to support me - I’ll be thrilled and delighted to get support countrywide!
All the money I make will be given to Carlow special Olympics club to go towards our participation in the games.
Thank you so much for all the support - I really appreciate it all!
xxx Sadbh.
