Funding Mamma White's Handicap Van & Bathroom

HELP A HEALING HEART! Mamma White has provided a loving home to foster children with medical needs for over 38 years.  When asked home many children have been in her home, her response "I stopped counting at 300".  She provides care to the most medically fragile.  Children who are bedridden, non-verbal, feeding tubes, seizure disorders and other medical issues.  She has seen children find new homes and has even adopted several in order to be sure they continue to get the loving care that they need.  

Her current wheelchair van is 25 years old and is no longer working.  The air doesn't work, the ramp is no longer functioning and there are several other issues that come about when a vehicle gets to be that age.  Without a functional handicap van she is unable to get these children to the appointments they need without costly transport companies that are unfortunately unreliable. 

Having a van with a rear entry ramp and automatic wheelchair lock is so important to be able to provide her the transportations she so desperately needs. She had petitioned the state to help but with current budget cuts her request was denied and she just doesn't know what to do. 

Her son Mike and I have decided to start this fund on her behalf.  When talking with her she is so distraught about the lack of access for travel and even brought up the need to remodel a bathroom to meet the bathing needs of these rapidly going, special needs children. 

If you have it in your heart to donate she, us and the children she opens her home to, would all be extremely thankful.  She does not ask for help or handouts but this issue is beyond her ability to fix on her own.
