Hi, my name is Qendrim and I’m a barber from Brisbane.

I quit my job to do this. I’m studying 3 days a week, and I spend the other 4 days + every evening on the streets helping people sleeping rough.

My schedule:

Monday to Wednesday: I’m studying during the day. But in the evenings I’m still out there. I can cut hair and provide meals for 1-2 people per night after class.

Thursday to Sunday: This is full-time. Minimum 4 haircuts a day, plus meals, clothes, and toiletries for each person. That’s 16+ people just on weekends, plus 3-6 more during weeknights.

So even while I study, I’m still out there 7 days a week. The haircut is just the start. After each cut,

I give them what they need: hot meal, drink, clean clothes, socks, underwear, toiletries. When I can, I pay for emergency hostel nights.

Why I need your help, and where every dollar goes:

I’m doing this instead of a paid job. To keep it going 7 days a week while I study, I have to be 100% upfront:

60% goes directly to people sleeping rough.

Meals, clothes, sleeping bags, hygiene packs, emergency accommodation. I’ll film every cut and post receipts so you see your donation in someone’s hands that day.

40% keeps me on the street and builds the future of this mission.

This covers fuel, clipper blades, sanitiser, capes, equipment, transport across Brisbane, and my basic living costs like rent and food while I study. Without it, I can’t afford to do this and study at the same time.

That 40% is also how I save and plan to grow. The goal isn’t just Brisbane.

Once I finish study and this is sustainable, I want to take this across Australia. Later, third world countries. But Australia first.

The next step:

I’m working to launch a clothing brand or product. When that’s running, 100% of the profits go back into this work. Then this GoFundMe shifts to 100% direct aid.

But right now I’m a student starting from zero. The 40% is what lets me help 20+ people every week and finish my studies so I can grow this bigger.

What your donation covers:

• $40 = 1 person: haircut + hot meal + drink + my fuel to get to them

• $100 = 2-3 people: haircuts + meals + clothing packs

• $250 = Funds a full day on weekends: 4+ haircuts, 4+ meals, clothing/hygiene packs, and keeps me going

I’m not a charity. I’m a student with clippers doing this 7 days a week. You’re funding me to be there while I study, funding them to get fed, and funding a plan to take this Australia-wide.
