Funding for Service Trip in Tennessee
Donation protected
Hello, I am Gus Hennegan, a rising senior at Xavier High School in New York City. I am participating in a week-long service trip in Robbins, Tennessee, in July, as a part of the school's Compassion of Francis Xavier Service and Immersion Program (or CFX for short). I will be accompanied by several other Xavier students and faculty members with the goal of constructing a home for a family in need through the Appalachia chapter of Habitat for Humanity. I hope to give back to those who are underprivileged and prove that I am truly a "man for others". Helping those in need will also expand my horizons on other cultures, and provide me with experience in trade skills that can benefit me in my everyday life. To make this trip possible, I require an additional $750 to pay for travel, lodging, and food expenses. To all of those who will support me, I appreciate you helping allow me to better both the lives of others and myself.
