My name is Jamison Gallagher, I am the biological father of Logan, Riley and Reagan Gallagher. My children were enjoying their last day of summer at their favorite stretch of beach in Strathmere with their mother Melissa, step-father Mark, step-sister Jocelyn and Logan's girlfriend Savannah. I received a panicked phone call at 12:26pm from Riley telling me that Reagan had gotten caught in a rip current and that Mark had rushed in to save her. We are fortunate that Reagan was brought back to shore by a near-by surfer however Mark had vanished into the ocean. Mark was found and unfortunately was unable to be resuscitated. Mark acted as a hero this day and made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our daughter alive.
