The Under One Sky Club, started by high school students at Lick Wilmerding High School in the Bay Area, is fundraising for an international service trip to China this summer. Under the non-profit One Sky, we are dedicated to helping Chinese orphans (https://onesky.org/). One Sky has a program designed for all types of students to help One Sky’s vision: A world where every young child has access to quality care and education.

With our strong interests and ties to China and the adoption system, we have collaborated with the One Sky organization over the last year and a half to enhance and expand the impact of their initiatives by creating an enrichment program using play-based learning. This summer's service trip would aim to further test our ideas of play-based learning in real orphanage settings and hopefully expand the program to more student volunteers.
