Funding Aliyia's SDSU Master Therapy Degree
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
I am reaching out on behalf of my younger sister, Aliyia, who is pursuing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State. As her older sister, I am incredibly proud of her and her commitment to becoming a therapist.
Aliyia is a Black student, and she understands the importance of having more Black therapists in the mental health field. She is passionate about providing better mental health care for the Black community and making a meaningful impact in the lives of those she will serve.
However, pursuing graduate studies can be financially challenging, particularly for students from underrepresented groups. This is why I am asking for your support in helping my sister fund her education. Your donation will go towards tuition fees, relocation fees, textbooks, and other educational expenses, allowing her to focus on her studies and become a competent and compassionate therapist.
I believe that my sister has the potential to be an excellent therapist, and I know that she will make a difference in the lives of those she will serve. Your contribution, no matter how small, will help her achieve her goal of increasing diversity in the mental health field and providing better care for the Black community.
Thank you for your support and generosity.
Sincerely,
Nia
