Funding two free camps for 6 to 10 children
Donation protected
Hi all,
The 4th Royal Eltham Scout Group has been around over 100 years. Currently based at the Coldharbour Community Hall in William Barefoot Drive. We have been through two world wars, covid and the cost of living crisis. In order to help out our hard pressed families we want to provide six free places on each of two weekend camps at Thriftwood Scout Activity Centre, Brentwood. The site has great outdoor activities such as canoeing, climbing tower and archery. Your donations will help us to help others.
What your donations can fund.
£10 will feed a child for the weekend.
£15 will pay for a raft building session.
£20 will pay for a child to go canoeing.
£45 will fund a child to attend a camp.
Appeal update 13/12/23
When we set up the appeal we set a modest target to fund one of two weekend camps to be held in April and September. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters that target was quickly reached. We have now increased our target to cover the cost of the second camp. Each camp will cost about £450.
Please remember to share on social media.
Appeal update 5/1/24
We have extended our target. We now feel we could fund between 8 and 10 children on each camp.
Thank you from the children, parents and leaders of the 4th Royal Eltham.
