Fund-a-Need: Gear for Youth

Help give gear to our youth crews!

The Food Project's youth employment programs pay teens $15/hour to help our farmers grow vegetables on farmland in Boston, Lynn, Lincoln, and Wenham. The harvest is distributed to food access organizations, our SNAP/HIP-accessible farmers markets, and free or affordable veggie box programs run with partner agencies.

We provide shirts, hats, and all the other protective gear needed for long summer days on the farms—rain or shine. It costs approximately $65 to outfit each of our 108 teens with a full supply of shirts and a hat.
