Two AM right now. There's a kid sitting in the dark on his bed. Mom's asleep down the hall. He's been faking it for months. He's almost out of fake.
There's a Marine on his porch tonight. Came back in 2019. Never really came back. Hasn't said a word to a soul.
A mom locked in a bathroom right now. Towel in her teeth so the kids don't hear her break. Used to know who she was.
Every one of them needs to hear something today, from someone, that reminds them they were built for more than what they're going through.
I'm done waiting for someone else to bring it.
WHO I AM
My name is Coach Pain. For 35 years I've stood in rooms across this country and watched people walk in convinced they were finished and walk out with their lives back. Athletes. Veterans. First responders. Men in recovery. Working people on the edge of giving up.
I've delivered the message in locker rooms, military bases, conference stages, ministries, and gyms. I've seen what happens when somebody gets the right words at the right moment.
I've also been to too many funerals for people I knew needed to hear something. Nobody got there in time.
THE GAP
The ones who need this most can't afford a conference ticket. They aren't on the corporate booking lists.
They're in the schools nobody books, the recovery houses nobody visits, the VAs that have never had a guest speaker walk in.
So I'm taking the message to them.
THE PAIN TO PURPOSE TOUR
Ten cities. Ten free events delivered to the audiences who need this message most:
- High schools serving at-risk kids
- VA centers and veterans' groups
- First responder departments (police, fire, EMS)
- Men's recovery programs
- Open community events in underserved cities
Every event is free for the audience. Every event is documented so the message keeps moving long after I leave the stage.
This is the tour I should have launched years ago. I'm launching it now.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT FUNDS
I'm not asking you to fund me. I'm asking you to fund the impact.
Every dollar goes directly into putting this on the road:
- Travel and lodging across cities
- Local venue and AV production
- A documentary crew capturing each stop — live audiences reach thousands; the recordings reach millions
- Marketing to fill the seats with the right audiences
- A modest tour honorarium so this can sustain across all stops
PHASE 1 GOAL: $30,000. Funds the first leg of the tour and gets us on the road.
WAYS TO RIDE WITH ME
$25 — Sponsor a Seat. One person who couldn't otherwise afford to be in the room is in the room because of you.
$100 — Sponsor a Family. Four seats. A first responder and her family. A veteran and his support group.
$500 — Sponsor a Section. Twenty seats reserved for a specific group.
$2,500 — Sponsor an Event. A full free event in a community of your choice. Your name listed as the sponsor.
$10,000 — Founding Sponsor. Tour-wide recognition. Executive producer credit on the documentary. Private workshop with Coach for your team or community.
OTHER WAYS TO RIDE WITH US
Money isn't the only way to back this. The tour needs more than dollars to get to ten cities — and if you've got something else we need, this is your invitation.
Got a venue?
A school auditorium, a fire-station hall, a community center, a gym, a church space. If you oversee a room that seats 100 or more and you can host a free event, that's a tour stop. Reach out.
Got a camera?
Videographers and photographers willing to roll on a stop and contribute footage to the documentary. Every shot you give us is a story that reaches more people. We'll credit your work.
Got beds?
Hotels, Airbnb owners, anyone with a property in a tour city who can comp a night or two of lodging for Coach and the crew. Every donated night is a stop that funds faster.
Got an organization with a logo and a mission that lines up?
Businesses and organizations can come on as official tour sponsors. Sponsors get logo placement on tour promotional materials, the tour website, event signage at sponsored stops, and credit in the documentary. If your brand is built around serving the people this tour is reaching — at-risk kids, veterans, first responders, recovery, and the working class being ground down — this is your seat.
To donate in-kind support or to sponsor the tour, message Coach directly through this GoFundMe page.
WHAT YOU GET BACK
Every backer gets behind-the-scenes updates from every tour stop, the story of who attended and what changed, access to the documentary as it releases, and a personal thank-you from me.
There are people right now who don't know they have one more month in them. I'm going to find them.
But I can't do it alone.
Be the reason somebody walks into their room before they run out of fake.
Pain to Purpose Tour. Ten cities. One mission.
Ride with me.
