Fund the Norwich Farm Foundation
We are a community-based non-profit formed to keep Norwich Farm a working value-added dairy farm. In 2022, thanks to tremendous local support, we purchased the property, protecting it from development and ensuring its future as a working farm.
For the past five years, Norwich Farm Creamery has been operating at the farm, producing grass-fed dairy products for the local market. Their bottled milk, chocolate milk, yogurt, ricotta cheese, and ice cream are made from milk it buys from Billings Farm in Woodstock, VT.
Now that the farm has been secured and the creamery is operating successfully, we aim to restore the on-farm milk supply and Bring the Cows Back!
We have a ten-year plan to put this essential agricultural property on a path to long-term sustainability.
Our next step is to shore up the financial foundation of the Norwich Farm Foundation. We are a new group and need to establish a solid economic base to rebuild this farm's working life.
