Hello! We are Clean Air Club, an organization dedicated to providing cleaner air for Chicago artists and organizers. For the past two years, our entirely volunteer-run, scrappy organization has provided free purifiers and Covid-safety gear to thousands of people around the city; purified the air on tours across North America and Europe; and redistributed resources to people with Long Covid. We're so proud of the work we've done!

At this point, the operational needs of our lending library have outgrown what our volunteers can do in their free time. Logistics issues are getting stuck, purifiers are not getting handed off efficiently, and our back-end system needs some fine tuning, despite our best efforts!

This is why we need you: we are fundraising so we can pay someone who knows our system to solve these problems, restore efficiency to our operations, and improve the purifier handoff system for all of our borrowers. As Clean Air Club has grown, we have had to pivot internal strategies many times, and this is no different. We are hoping that fairly compensating someone to do this work, first on a trial basis and then hopefully on a recurring basis, will be exactly what the lending library needs to thrive in its third year.
