Hello, and blessings to all with big hearts. For those that do not know who I am... I’m Odonis Velez.

I am a former United States Marine that served for 9 years. Also, served 9 years as a United Nations Security Officer. For 2 years I protected the friendly skies while working for the Airlines. This equates to 20 years of dedicated service in helping and protecting people.

A friend gave me advice to start this GOFUNDME page. My goal is to purchase my first home for my lovely family.

With the help from you all...I will be able to have money put together to achieve the American Dream. It is not easy to purchase a home, especially in today's market.

The home buying process class in my college did not exist.

Thanks to YouTube videos I received the knowledge...Everything from the importance of credit scores, tax returns, debt to income ratios, monthly budgets, etc.

I have everything in order apart from a decent downpayment. I do not want to live in a "house poor" situation after getting the home purchased. My current monthly bills are high, and it will take more time to save for the downpayment ourselves. The target time to buy my family home is February 2024. This is currently just 8 months away from now.
